Owen Sound
Yesterday Mayra, Brittney, Cassidy, Kate and I drove to Owen Sound which is about 40 minutes from Port Elgin. We went there to go shopping in the mall they have there. I got a pair of shoes, some sports stuff and a shirt with a maple leaf and the text "eh." on it!! Hahhaha!
The cool kids sit in the back.
We went to the European bakery Cafe to eat European stuff like waffles and maple syrup. Hahah.
I so regret not buying this.
But I regret not buying these even more!!
And it's not a true Canadian day if you don't top it off with some Tim Hortons.
And when I got home I fried some meatballs and served them with Ikea's high-quality lingon sylt. In Canada people put the meatballs in the oven covered with BBQ sauce so the Swedish version was new to my host parents.
